Rosalind H Brunson, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Born on October 17, 1919, in Elwood, she was a daughter of the late John and Gladys Klumpp. She retired from Mutual Security Life Insurance Company in 1984, then retired from Parkview Memorial Hospital in 2004, at the age of 85.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. (Sarah) Brunson Jr, of Orland; grandson, Jason C. (Jennifer) Brunson; great-grandchildren, Alec and Isabella; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Brunson Sr, in 1964; daughter, Sharon Sue Nichter; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be 11am, Monday, October 23, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Elwood Cemetery, Elwood. Memorial donations may be given to the Angola Council on Aging.

She was a grand lady with so much class and faith for our Lord and Savior. Knowing her was an honor for myself and my husband. We will always remember our trips to church and lunch. This lady could cook and warm your heart with her presence. Never left her house hungry. Rosie would say I'm making apple dumplings bring the kids. As a trade she had the kids pulling weeds...smart cookie she was.
She was a wonderful person and will always have a special place in my heart. I know she will have a special place in heaven.
