I taught with Jeanne at Yankeetown School. She was a lovely person and I enjoyed working with her and knowing her. I'll always remember Jeanne and her interest and care for the children she taught. It was indeed my pleasure to know her.

Jeanne was such a kind and gentle soul. Her smile would light up a room. Her Old North family will miss her so much, could always count on her to help me with sandwiches for our UMW events. She is now dancing with Bob and having a great reunion! May the Lord wrap her family and friends in his loving arms today, tomorrow and always.

She was a sweet lady... We were neighbors when her and Bob lived in Springhaven. When we moved in she greeted us with a smile and a cake. R.I.P Mrs. Gerst.

Such a kind and gentle lady, I have great memories of Miss Jeannie and Mr. Bob playing bridge upstairs with the Lands and Smiths at our house on many a Saturday night. What a fun loving group of people. She was loved by many and will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jeanne was such a lovely person. At Old North UMC she governed the donut and coffee duties on Sunday morning. People take their donuts and coffee serious. Just over a week ago she was filling in for someone who was on vacation and I had the chance to visit with her in the kitchen. Such a beautiful lady and wonderful spirit. She will be sadly missed by the Old North Family for certain.
