Shirley J. Marrotte 87, of Westmoreland, NH, passed away on Wednesday evening, October 11, 2017, at the Cheshire Medical Center / Dartmouth Hitchcock, Keene, surrounded by her family.
Her parents, Agnes (Anderson) and Charles E. Gregory, Sr. proudly welcomed Shirley into the world on March 8, 1930 in Peterborough, NH.
Shirley was a longtime resident of Keene before residing in North Walpole with her granddaughter, Christine. Shirley remained there until she moved to Westmoreland seven years ago.
She took great pride in her job responsibilities in environmental services at the Cheshire Medical Center, a devotion she instilled for 30 years.
You could always find Shirley sitting in front of the television on a daily basis watching the Days of Our Lives soap opera as well as playing along with Wheel of Fortune later in the evening. She also enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles as well as word search puzzles. However, her favorite pastime of all was the special memories she created with her family.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her daughter, Linda Jordan and her husband, Timothy, of Keene; her four grandchildren, Christine Jordan and her partner, Shane Lake, Philip Jordan, Cindy Parrott, Tammey Smith; her great-grandchildren, Alycha Compas, Courtney Compos, Landon Lake, JC Parrott, Karl Parrott, Jr. Danielle Smith, Cody Smith, Ethan Jordan, Evan Jordan, Delilah Jordan, Madelyn Jordan; her great-great-granddaughters, Klaira Royce, Lillith Smith; three brothers, Sherman Gregory of Keene, Norman Gregory of Beverly, MA, Earl Gregory of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Marrotte; a brother, Charles E. Gregory Jr.; and 4 sisters, Dorothy LaClair, Joyce Raymond, June Lagasse and Ester Webster.
At Ms. Marrotte's requests, services will be private.
