Jennifer, I am so sorry for you and your son's loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, please let me know if I can do anything. I am sorry that I am out of town this weekend. I have always found in times of loss, some comfort in a line from a sutra, I hope it offers you some comfort as well.

He was a great childhood friend of mine and I will miss him terribly! Those of us that who did some of our growing up in Jacksonville, Florida as Navy brats never forgot our friends...our streets were named after exotic places like Pacific islands, mine was Java Drive. Bill lived behind us on the next street across from the future Mrs. Georgia Nova Pearson Kopp who grew up to be a beauty queen. Bill moved to Maine, I moved to Macon, GA and Nova is in Atlanta now but we never stopped thinking about each other and all of our other childhood friends. We all played hard and we never knew when our Fathers would ship out and then it was my turn to go....I never dreamed Bill would leave us this early, and he will be greatly missed. Anchors away my friend.
