HOCKADAY, Jean Stanley, Our loving mother, age 80, of Henrico County, Virginia, passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She was a longtime member of Chamberlayne Baptist Church and employed with Henrico County Schools for a number of years. Her greatest passion was the love for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hervey Eugene Hockaday, survived by her son, Craig Hockaday, son Russell Hockaday and wife Linda, two grandchildren Lauren and Aaron Hockaday and longtime friend and companion Forrest Urban. The family will receive friends and family from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229 for visitation. Memorial service will be held at Chamberlayne Baptist Church, 215 Wilkinson Road, Richmond, Virginia on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
