Kevin W. Conner, 53, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2017, in Nacogdoches. He was born on May 1, 1964, in Houston, Texas, the son of Jerry W. Conner and Jolene (Baxter) Conner.

On July 7, 1984, he was united in marriage with Penny Michelle Hammonds in Houston, Texas.

Kevin was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in 1982. Throughout his lifetime Kevin held many jobs to include, but not limited to, working for Houston Lightning and Power, McCoy's Building Materials, Home Depot, and Lowe's. He was an avid craftsman who thoroughly enjoyed working in construction.

Kevin enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved spending his time in the woods and on the water worshiping the Good Lord with the deer and fish. Kevin loved his family and friends dearly, especially the time spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his mother, Jolene (Baxter) Conner of Nacogdoches, Texas; children , Heather M. (Conner) Hernandez and husband Marco A. Hernandez of Lewisville, Texas, Whitney N. (Conner) Imler of Middletown, Rhode Island, and Cody W. Conner and wife Alex A. (Perry) Conner of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Abygail E. Imler, Daniel R. Imler, Matthew A. Hernandez, and Makena C. Hernandez; siblings, Kendall C. Conner and wife Julia B. Conner of Woden, Texas, and Jerri Lynn (Conner) Cleland and husband James G. Cleland of Tomball, Texas; nieces and nephews, Chelsea L. (Conner) Riley and family, Tyler C. Conner and family, Candy B. Cleland, and Luke C. Cleland.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louey L. Conner, Ruth W. Conner, Joe B. Baxter, and Estalene Baxter; father, Jerry W. Conner; uncle, Louey L. Conner Jr.; and son-in-law, John R. Imler.

Friends and family will be received for a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors in Nacogdoches, Texas. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Clem Russell.

Interment will be held at Old North Church Cemetery, Nacogdoches, Texas immediately following the services.

Pallbearers will be Roy Oliver, Michael Ray, Wayne Akio Fujimoto, Dan Sitton, James Russell, and James Cleland.
