It is with great sadness that the family of Darlene K. Aubele announce her passing, on Sunday morning, October 22, 2017 with her daughter by her side at home. Darlene is survived by her brother Keith Kearney, son Steven Smith (Margo), daughter Dianne Lappe (Brian), and grandchildren Janna Roberts, Kara Platt, Greg Smith, and Jason Jensen. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Aubele, her son Larry McNeil and brother's Richard, John and Tommy Kearney.
She was born April 8, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mark and Irene (Gillies) Kearney. During her career Darlene worked as an Administrative Assistant within the bottling industry working for Fisher Brewery, Lucky Lager Brewery and E.F. Mariani Co. She also worked for a local Arizona dentist for many years.
Darlene was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Nana. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her, and now she is our special Angel from above. We know when God took you back He said, Hallelujah, you're home!
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. followed by an 11:00 memorial service at the Cave Creek LDS ward, located at 38008 North Basin Rd. Cave Creek, Arizona 85331. The burial service will be held at the Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, located at 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, Az. 85027 at 2:30.
