Joseph Edward Rodriguez passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2017 at the age of 76. He was born January 14, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to Joseph and Minerva Rodriguez.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roland R. Rodriguez. Joseph is survived by his loving wife: Josie Rodriguez; His adoring children: Madeleine M. Loeffler (Diego), Andrea J. Rodriguez, Daniel E. Margain (Ally), and James A. Rodriguez (Alyssa); 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Joseph was a man who loved the Lord and his family deeply. He devoted his life to caring and nurturing for them. His greatest pride came from the love of his wife and the love and success of his children. Family meant everything to him!
He was a proud alumni of the 1963 Texas A&M Corp of Cadets. The family thanks his "Animal A" Company for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texas A&M Corp of Cadets Scholarship Fund.
Visitation will begin at 6:00p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd., with the Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m..
