Lynne and I met Huong at our high school reunion in Geneseo, Illinois a few years back, and we found Huong to be such a warm and loving person. One never really knew who my buddy Jeff Lee would marry, since we met up way back in 7th grade, but meeting with the two of them, a person soon realizes that these were two beautiful souls. I'm sure Houng will be missed so very much, and I extend my sincerest sympathies to Jeff and his family. Mark & Lynne Sahlgren

Jeff and I are lifelong friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Huong when on too few occasions we saw each other. I thought she was a delightful person, so nice and sweet. She had a great sense of humor as well.I always thought Carol and I would see Huong again and it is very sad to me that we will not. So our great sympathy to Jeff and his family upon losing a very special person in Huong. Our prayers are now with you, Jeff, and your 3 sons and their families. Jim and Carol Hedman (Moline, IL) .

Huong will be dearly missed. Huong could make a pauper feel like a king or queen. When she'd meet someone that person would feel like the most important person in the world. Her welcomeness knew no bounds.
