Joyce E. Hambrock, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on October 25, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on January 2, 1934, in Monroeville, IN, to the late Paul and Mabel (Schlemmer) Lehrman. She was a graduate of the Monroeville High School Class of 1952. Joyce was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she also retired as their custodian.
Surviving are her children, Sandra (Ralph) Tuttle of Fort Wayne and Rex (Tylese Buck) Hambrock of Sioux Falls, SD; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd E. Hambrock; and siblings, Noella Moore, Donald Lehrman, and Joella Stephenson.
The funeral service will be on Monday, October 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, Waynedale United Methodist Food Pantry, and Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
