Paul H. Clark 84, of Huntington passed away at his residence at 6:22 p.m. on Friday October 27, 2017. Paul was a 1951 graduate of Huntington Township High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1956, serving most of his time in Germany. He worked as a carpenter and in maintenance for several years, retiring from Agricor in Marion in 2001. He also farmed and raised livestock throughout his life. Paul was a member of American Legion Post 85 in Huntington and was a John Deere tractor enthusiast.

Paul was born on July 3, 1933 in Huntington, the son of Herman P. and Louise R. (Gelzleichter) Clark.

He was united in marriage to Marilyn Jackson on January 19, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a son: Bill (Darlene) Clark of Huntington; a daughter: Cathy Beard of Huntington; a sister: Mary Louise Kreiger of Colorado; three grandchildren: Silas Clark of Huntington, Tanner Crawford of Indianapolis and Hartley Geyer of Huntington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Sister M. Celine, Helen Semple and Ruth Sesline.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Father Steven Colchin officiating.

Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to Visiting Nurse and Hospice or American Legion Post 85 both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
