I met Al almost 9 years ago at my first AA Meeting. After that meeting he came up to me and told me he could tell I was sincere about wanting to get and stay sober! He proceeded to tell me what the next initial steps were and I followed them. He saved my life that night with his words of wisdom and encouragement! He was a great man. He'll be an even better Guardian Angel! Until we meet again! R.I.P. Laverne "Al" Hofacker!
