Bobby J. Fox, 82 of Huntington passed away at 3:37 am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Bobby was a 1952 graduate of Union High School. He served his country in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening and he loved to bake.
Bobby was born on December 25, 1934 in Huntington, the son of Clifford and Louella (Prather) Fox.
He was united in marriage to Patricia A. Hammond on February 13, 1954 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She preceded him in death on December 7, 2015.
Survivors include two sons: Steven (Kris) Fox of Wabash; Michael Fox of Wabash; two daughters: Julie (Rob) Pelikan of Fort Wayne; Lori (Randy) Martin of Fort Worth, TX; five granddaughters, six great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clifford and Louella Fox, three brothers: Max Fox, Jerry Fox, "D" Fox and two sisters: Mary Leedy and Mona Jean Reed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana with Father Steven Colchin officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made out to St. Mary's Catholic Church in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
