Joseph Malsch of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on October 28,2017.
He was the loving son of Walter J. and Frances Malsch of East Stroudsburg, Pa.
Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in East Stroudsburg. Later decided to move to Nashville to pursue his love of music. Joseph was a bass guitarist and enjoyed writing his own music and lyrics. He was an accomplished musician.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Alphonse and Millie Iadevaio of Queens, NY.
He is survived by his parents, sister Deborah Russikoff and brothers Walter, Christopher, Edward and Daniel.
Sister in -Law's Karyn and Jennifer Malsch. Brother- in -Law's Brian Russikoff and Jairo Prado. Nine nieces & nephews and his uncles and aunts Anthony and Antoinette Iadevaio, Alfred and Mary Iadevaio, Richard and Ellen Iadevaio and so many cousins that he loved with all his heart.
There were three things in life that Joseph loved. His family, his music and his country.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 200 Brodhead Ave East Stroudsburg PA 18301. Calling hours will be held on Monday November 6 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and also on Tuesday morning from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg. Burial will take place at Prospect Cemetery.
He will be sadly missed by all.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Joe's passing. Having known Joe for many years, I've played in bands and recorded with Joe plus know many of the Malsch Brothers my heart goes out to him and his family. Joe you will be seriously missed. Keep on playing that Bass upstairs brother! I Salute you with a tear in my eye.
