Marc Forbes Prochnow

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Marc Prochnow's unexpected passing.
He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Marc was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou Prochnow and his nephew Jay Prochnow.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Prochnow, stepson Paolo Yates (Michelle) grandchildren Garrett, Brett, Dylan and Hunter, father Ned Prochnow, brother Steven Prochnow (Valerie) nephews, Kyle, Kevin and Eric, sister Ann Armstrong (Bill) niece's Leslie, Molly and nephew Jeffrey.
Marc was born in Davenport, Iowa and as a child also lived in San Francisco (Stonestown), Novato, Wiesbaden, Germany and New York.
The majority of Marc's childhood was in Orinda, CA. Marc graduated from Miramonte High School.
As an adult Marc lived with his wife Cynthia in Mountain View, CA, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Pleasant Hill, CA and Foresthill, CA
Marc worked for Honda and BMW in his younger years. His love and passion for motorcycles stayed with him from childhood into the rest of his life.
He was a huge Warriors and Giants fan and enjoyed watching many games. His love for his wife Cynthia was endless. Marc also loved his two cats very much.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 3:00PM at Chapel of the Hills 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.

Our condolences to Cynthia, the Prochnow's and extended family, as well as to all of Marc's friends, at his loss. Tom and I are deeply saddened. Our grief for our long-time friend Marc is inexpressible. We send wishes that in time, the dear memories of Marc remain with each of us, to comfort and warm our hearts.
