Melvina “Ann” Zimmerman Ohler, age 70, peacefully passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours on Sunday, October 29, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years William G. Ohler Sr. and her three children, William “Billy” Ohler Jr. (Gina H. Ohler), Joseph “Joe” Ohler and her baby girl Melissa “Missy” Ohler. She was a loving grandmother to her Brett Ohler, Sean Ohler, Ethan Ohler, Luke Ohler and MaryGrace Ohler. Daughter of the late John Zimmerman Sr., and survived by her mother Alena “Lena” Zimmerman. Sister to the late Lillian Turner, and survived by her sisters Johnnie Fink (Bobby Fink Sr.), Mary Fink (Achille Fink Jr.), and brother John Zimmerman Jr. (Kim Zimmerman).
She was born on Christmas morning in New Orleans in 1946 and was a 41 year resident of Kenner, Louisiana. There was a private family burial on Friday, November 3, 2017. This world will never be the same without her. She was loved by numerous family and friends throughout her beautiful life and now she is her family’s TRUE ANGEL.
