Kathleen A. Crank, 69, of Peoria, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born on January 13, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois to James and Evelyn (Greene) Meiers. She married James Richard “Dick” Crank on June 15, 1974 in Bartonville, Illinois. He survives.
She is also survived by one son, Rob (Heather) Kneer of Washington, Illinois; two grandchildren, Kylie and Kamryn Kneer; four siblings, Janet (Richard) Snead of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Steven Meiers of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Carol (Vern) Dupee of Tucson, Arizona and Eileen (Ray) Moy of Addison, Illinois and she has many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Meiers and her parents.
Kathleen was a Vice President of Community Bank where she worked over 20 years, later she worked in patient billing at Methodist Medical Center before retiring in 2014.
She was a member and former vice president of the Credit Womens International and the Bartonville Femmes Unir Club. She was an avid reader, loved the beach and spending time with family in Door County, Wisconsin. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her two granddaughters. She enjoyed her two dogs, Maggie and Molly. Kathleen was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of Bartonville.
Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Barclay will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. Dick and Family So sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Kathy for 15 years at Methodist and she was a great person who always had a positive attitude and was a joy to work with.. I am so glad that I was able to see her just a few weeks ago. She is someone who I will never forget Hugs and prayers to you and your family
