Douglas Lloyd Erickson: A Life Lived with Passion
Fifty years and one month Doug gave us his passion. Whether it was working, playing, protecting, fighting, laughing, loving, giving, or hugging, he gave it with every fiber of his being. His loved ones describe him as enchanting, generous, sidesplittingly funny and extremely caring. He taught others to love like him: give your all to anyone, anytime, anywhere that you can. Doug will be so greatly missed by all those who experienced his unique energy, his sincere and genuine love, and his exuberant passion for life.
We are celebrating that Doug is with Jesus, glorying in the beauty of his Savior and Lord. One year ago this month, he was baptized professing his faith in Christ. He is forever changed, forever the Father's child.

I loved this man, my brother. I'm so thankful for the last two years of his life...never so many laughs, never so many joyous times, never so many prayers offered for our loved ones together.
Doug's life will ever stand to me of the power of Jesus to change the heart. It was miraculous...it really was!
