Genetta Brock Beam, 77, passed from this life to the next on November 6, 2017. Known to family and friends as Gen, she was born January 28, 1940 in Wichita Falls to Vera May and Ira Lewis Brock, the fourth of their eleven children.
She attended Wichita Falls High School and Texas Tech University. An enthusiastic traveler, she resided in and visited numerous locations across the United States and Europe.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Hugh Beam, her daughter: Kimberly Payne, both of Wichita Falls, and her son: John Payne of Tulsa.
She is also survived by her brother: Joe Brock and her sisters: Patricia Spitz and Kathy Biskup, all of Wichita Falls.
The family offers a "Thank You" to the nurses and aides of Wichita Falls Home Health.
Visitation is Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 6 - 8 PM, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with cremation to follow. No other services will be held.
