Joyce Ann Patton, 77, of Malden, passed away at Bowers Hospice House, Cranberry, after a long illness.
She was born December 8, 1939 to the late Harrison and Bessie Kirk. Joyce is also preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Harvey Ray; her sisters, Reese Horrocks and Emma Bowles; and brothers, Jim, Jack and Frank Kirk.
Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She loved being a caregiver to the elderly. She had various jobs over the years and loved socializing with new people. Joyce never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta and husband, Jerry Gray of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Brandon Gray of Malden and Jodie Gray of Oak Hill; great-grandchild, Mason Bailey; sisters, Jean Morris of Kanawha City and Betty Tucker of Malden; and brother, Gary Kirk of Kanawha City.
A graveside service will be held 2:30p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017, with spiritual friend, Dottie Collins, officiating at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Glasgow. The burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom ,grandma and sister. I often wondered whatever happened to Joyce every time I drove past Jonqjil Dr. We had some great times working at the Arcade together. Again I'm so sorry.
