I first met Scott at Tripler. He was working as a LPN but wanted to work with the IT section. He got his wish and he made us all look good within MEDCOM. I could always count on this fine Soldier. He made the Tripler assignment one of the best! Rest in Peace my friend.

There are no words to express the shock and sadness I felt upon hearing of Loc's sudden demise. We met in the Army at Ft Sam Houston's 91C school and instantly became friends. Our friendship was further forged after living together for that year, he shared his Vietnamese cuisine and I shared the African American culture...we truly became brothers from different mothers. After school, we went are separate ways and lost touch. We just recently found each other, both of us discovering we were now married with kids. I will always remember and cherish the good times we spent together. May God bless you and your family and bring them peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Scott was a brilliant, funny, and caring man. Professionally, he was always there to offer assistance or guidance, and could instantly lift your spirits with a joke or by sitting down just to talk for a bit.
Personally, he talked often and proudly of his family; it was immediately apparent that his entire existence and all his hard work was to give everything he possibly could to his wife and girls. Scott will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear about the loss of Scott, it is still so surreal. Scott often spoke of what a great wife he had and how Chris was the "super mom" to his two beautiful girls. He loved all of you with all his heart. I was privileged to see his girls grow in life through Scott's eyes, family stories, and pictures. He would send us pictures at every proud Dad moment, along with the sports scores. He was so proud of everything "his" girls accomplished and the women you have become. Scott also shared many stories over the years of his Father, Mother, Brothers, and Sisters as he was Family proud and loved you all. My husband, Craig and I worked with Scott for many many years in and for the U.S. Army. He was an outstanding Soldier, Coworker, and Friend. He will be sadly missed. May God give you all the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of Scott Rest In Peace.
