Marjorie Cook Halstead, 90, of Kansas City, Mo passed away Nov. 9, 2017. Marjorie was a member of the Avondale Baptist Church for over 60 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Dennis.
Marjorie is survived by her sons Bruce and Barry (Karen); grandsons Nathan, Jacob, Charlie and Jamie.
Services will be held at Avondale Baptist Church Nov.13. Visitation from 1-2 pm Funeral 2 pm. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.

So sorry for your family's loss. Mrs. Halstead was our neighbor since 1993. We always looked after each other. We always found comfort knowing she was right next door. We will truly miss her. May she rest in peace. Sincerely, Steve & Michelle Holsted

Sorry about the loss of Marge but I know she is with Jesus. I went to church with her and always admired her positive attitude and the way she looked at life. We will miss her at Avondale. Barry and Bruce, I will be praying for comfort and peace for you.
