Leonor Hermosillo Olivas, 83, of El Paso, died on Friday, November 10, 2017 in her home surrounded by family. Leonor was born in Villa Aldama, Chihuahua on December 12, 1933. Throughout her life, she was the epitome of selflessness, generosity, and kindness. She always thought of others before herself, often eating the burned tortillas and leaving the rest for her family. While Leonor's unassuming and humble nature were obvious and charming, her wit and sarcasm made her all the more endearing. Leonor was a hard-working, family-oriented person, who went by many names during her lifetime, including "Hija", "Hermana", "Esposa", and "Tía" even to those that she met while working at Ysleta Auto Parts. She took pride in all that she did, and was most proud to be called "Mamá" and "Güela," by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished and adored. Leonor is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, infant daughter and husband, Jorge F. Olivas. She is survived by sons Rolando, Marco, and Randall Olivas; daughters Dinah Olivas Lopez and Lori Olivas Glenn; grandchildren Jorge Lopez (Cynthia), Lindsay Lopez Valdez (Ryan), Patrick Glenn, and Sofía and Anaïs Olivas; and great-grandchildren Alejandra, Juliana, Cristiana, and Elianna Lopez, and Ezra Valdez.Services held at Crestview Funeral Home 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd. Visitation 5-9PM, Rosary 7PM on Monday, November 13. Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at 10AM on Tuesday, November 14, with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
