Laymond Elsworth McFaden, age 89 of Lynchburg passed away, Monday, November 13, 2017.

He was born in Lynchburg on April 11, 1928, son of the late Arthur Jackson McFaden and the late Emma Chanault McFaden.

Preceeding him in death were his former wife, Marian McFaden and a daughter, Glenda M. Tyree.

He was retired from Truck Body Corporation and a member of River Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah M. Durden; three grandchildren, Chris Staton, Renee Casto, and Scott Tyree; two step children, Roy Breedon and Carolyn Doss.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

Arrangements under the direction of Whitten Timberlake Chapel, Lynchburg, VA.
