Louis Villa Trevino passed away peacefully at age 89 on November 12, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nicky Benavides Trevino; sons Louis V Trevino, Jr (Josie) and Stephen L Trevino (Pam) and daughters Patricia A Wilder (Bill) and Sandra D Gregg (Blake); grandchildren Tristan Trevino, Candice Trevino, Ryan Hairell and Hunter Gregg. He is predeceased by his grandson, Joshua Trevino.
Mr Trevino is also survived by his brothers, Benny and Frank Trevino, and sisters, Ruby Calderon and Virginia Young, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
Shortly after their marriage in Waco, Texas, Louis and Nicky relocated to Bellaire, Texas, where they raised their family. Mr Trevino, a Korean War Veteran who served in the Air Force, was employed for decades by Tenneco before his retirement.
After his retirement he was an avid golfer, a dedicated fan of all Houston professional sports teams and the Dallas Cowboys. But his interests always centered on his beloved wife, his children, his siblings and his very large extended family. Louis was the consummate husband, father, brother and uncle.

Trino Santoyo
Neither distance nor prolonged time of separation can diminish true family ties or the bonds of love.
I, along with my siblings of the Santoyo family, grieve with you in the loss of our cousin Louiea warm and wonderful soul. Whether expected or not through illness or other circumstances, losing a loved one is never easy and were never really ready to say Good-bye upon their departure from this life, this good earth.
Louie has now rejoined those family members whove preceded him in death. In due time, all the souls of the Trevinos, Sotos and Santoyos will rejoin in another realm.
Sincere condolences,
Cousin Trino Santoyo

Louis was a wonderful man, and the best father-in-law imaginable. His loss is a blow to his wife, children and family, but we draw solace from the fact that Louis is in heaven with his grandson, Joshua, and all the loved ones that have gone before him.
