Erwin Hunter was born August 29, 1940 in Lorain, Ohio. He passed away on November 11, 2017 in Harker Heights.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Chong Hunter and the following children, David Hunter, Doug Hunter, Debora Hunter, Paul Baek, and Adam Baek. He has three grandchildren Douglas Hunter, Jr. Michael Hunter and Ashley Kolin. Erwin also has three great grandchildren Ryan Hunter, Ariah Hunter and Savannah Hunter. He was dearly loved by all.
The viewing will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Crawford-Bowes Funeral Home in Killeen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the funeral home with Full Military Honors following at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 12 Noon.
Erwin was dedicated to the military and serves over 27 years before retiring as a Command Sergeant Major. He served in Viet Nam.
We invite family and friends to join us at AFE9A Charlie Green Memorial Hall. 699 East Veterans Memorial Blvd. ,Harker Heights Texas immediately following the burial.

Uncle "Lad" is how I'll always remember him. Even though he didn't care for that name. Every time we spoke he always struck me as full of vitality, right to the end. I knew him to be a successful Soldier, Father, and Business Man.
