To the Gilkison family, Gary was my Friend and work Supervisor in the Automotive Department!
I worked for Gary in for many years at Sears. Gary hired me back after I Discharged from Military Service in 1989. I can still see Gary in my memory image wearing his tan or Khaki Colored Suit with a nice tie. I loved working with Gary for he was always unmoved and remained calm! Today, I carry many of Gary's special traits in dealing with Customers. Gary had a special way when dealing with Customer. I always remember how Gary would act when talking with customers and I put his characteristics into my everyday workday even today. January 2022. Gary! We'll See you Later. Thank you for helping me be part of who I am today!

Heartfelt thank you Michelle for greeting me. Apprehensive as I did not feel anyone would recognize me Times like this are difficult but closure is important Thank you Tammy for also reaching out Gary was a great boss. Truly a people person. The best at handling customers not only in the Auto Center but in the store. Many times he was called to handle problems in the store and it was great how he would have a conversation and compromise or calm people You are right Michael. It

Sending prayers of comfort to each of Gary's family members. I was so happy to have had the privilege of being friends with Gary and Kate for over 25 years. Starting at the Alsip Flea Market. We shared New Years together here in Florida for over 25 years. He loved his Ham and fixens on New Years Day. Enjoyed so many visits to Naples and shared so many memories. Gary always had a special trip when we visited. My favorite was to 10,000 Islands. Please know that he was so proud when he talked about his family, both Reno and Gilkerson's. He was loved by so many and as long as we have our memories, he will live on. Jacque & Dick, Sun City Center, FL

Gary has been a golfing partner with me for the last several years. In fact I was golfing this past Tuesday, the day Gary died, and was thinking of Gary with the passenger seat of my golf cart empty. Gary was a great golfer & never let a bad shot affect him. I am sure he is already hitting a ball in that great course in heaven. Gary will be missed by myself and his other golfing partners. Our prayers at with his family and friends. Don Werner

Extending our sympathy, prayers, and love to to each of you. Gary was such a kind and generous person. One of my best memories was the trip, he took me, my parents and Aunt Alta, to Cave City, to visit Aunt Alkie. He was an example of how important family should be. He will be missed.
Sincerely with love, and Blessed that Gary was a big part of our family.

I hope that the family accepts what I have to share, as well as my condolences. He was like a grandpa to me. I never got to know mine. He gave me my favorite hat. It looks like Nanook of the North's. His last words to me were to take care of his little girl, my fiance Amanda, his great grandniece. I'll always remember him for his love for family, kindness and generosity. May you be reunited with your brothers in Paradise. Love you with all my heart.
