Tommye Jean Smith, 93, died Monday Nov. 13, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Village.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Friday Nov. 17, 2017 at St. Richard’s Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 10am till 11am at the church. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Garnet Lewis Smith. Survivors include a brother; Carl Victor Welch (Gail), son; Daniel Lewis Smith (Donna) daughters; Carla Ann Smith, Susan Lee Burwell, Kathy Jean Lyon (Terry), nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

As a volunteer on Siena 2, I have known Tommye Jean during her stay there. She had a smile like an angel. I will miss her. May her family be consoled in days ahead by memories of happy times together.
