Earline Augusta Holt, 92, of Houston, TX, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Tomball, TX on November 27, 1924 to Albert George and Elsie Ellen Hirsch. She was married to Ted M. Holt, Sr. for 37 years. Earline worked for Walton Transportation for over 30 years as a certified professional secretary. She was a member of the National Secretaries Association and South Drive Baptist Church. She had a passion for bowling in her younger days, her faith and her many generations of family.
Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Ted M. Holt, Sr.; son-in-law, Joe Pack; brothers, A.G. Hirsch and E.G. Chandler; sisters, Erma LaCour and Dorothy Hissong. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda E. Pack; son, Ted M. Holt, Jr. and wife Gladys; grandsons, Scott McMillan and wife Cindy, Greg McMillan and wife Elaine; granddaughters, Kelley Nettles and husband Chris, Lisa Jennings and husband Jay; great granddaughters, Madison, Haley and Emily McMillan; great grandsons, Eric McMillan, Austin and Landon Nettles and Luke Jennings.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at South Drive Baptist Church, 15229 South Dr, Channelview, TX 77530. Funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM at South Drive Baptist Church. Graveside services will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
