Lance Robert Hoie, 34, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at his home. Born in Red Bank, NJ, he lived his entire life in Brick, NJ until moving to Toms River 3 years ago. He had worked as a silk screener. His passion was all types of music which made him smile and brought much love and joy to his family and friends. His son Layne meant the world to him.
Lance was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Rose Marie Hoie and his uncle Robert Frank Hoie. He is survived by his son Layne Marano; his mother Lydia A. Haunz and her companion Leonard Chrzaszcz and his daughter Ashley Lynn Chrzaszcz; his father Mathias Clausen Hoie, Jr.; his brother Christopher Carl Hoie; his paternal grandfather Mathias Clausen Hoie, Sr. and his wife, Lois; his maternal grandparents Walter Thomas and Rita Elizabeth Haunz; his aunts, Christina Maria Graham and Christine Elizabeth Hoie, his cousins Tommy Graham, Ryan Graham, and Scott Graham, and his girlfriend Paulette Gaquer and her son Evan Gaquer.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 20, 2017 from 2 to 6 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08757 where a funeral service will be held at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Mental Alliance onMental Illness https://www.nami.org .
