Betty was born April 1, 1925 in Davenport, IA to Hugo and Elizabeth (Walters) Roenfeldt. Betty worked for more than twenty-five years at Warren and Nickleson as a box maker. She was very crafty and enjoyed making Christmas ornaments for her family. Betty really enjoyed the Christmas season. She loved animals and had several pets over the years. But above all Betty loved her family and was always asking where her favorite niece and nephew, Anna and Charles, where. Betty will be remembered riding her bike, taking care of her daily errands. In fact she rode her bike well past her 80th birthday. Those left to honor her memory include her nieces: Anna (John) Ludtke, Lori Wouters and Sandy (Steve) Winters; nephews: Charles L. (Charlene) Roenfeldt, Richard (Judy) Roenfeldt and Scott (Sandy) Roenfeldt, sister-in-law, Loretta Roenfeldt and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Elsie Roenfeldt and Kenneth; sister, Hattie Rose and nephews, Michael Roenfeldt and David Wouters.
