James Patrick White, age 84, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.
Mr. White was born on September 27, 1933 in Manhattan, NY, and he was the son of the late Beatrice "Bridget" (Fallon) and Patrick White. He was raised in Manhattan, NY, before marrying and moving to East Brunswick, NJ, and he and his family resided there until finally retiring to Manchester. Mr. White was a US Army Veteran. He retired after 30 years of service with the Colgate Palmolive Company in Piscataway, NJ.
Husband of the late Mildred White, who passed away in 2015, he is survived by their children, Patti Allen and her husband Doug, Jean Marie Amerman and her husband Paul, and James Patrick White, Jr.; and 7 grandchildren, Jesse, Ryan, Michael, Christopher, Amanda, Alexa and Hailey.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A prayer service will be offered during the visiting hours. Interment services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the BG William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Those attending should gather at the cemetery welcome center promptly at 9:45 a.m.
