LaNell passed from this world to be with the Lord November 15th, 2017. She was born October 20th, 1931 in Longview, TX to the late P.R. and Melinda Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years O.D. White Jr., her daughter Mindy, and her sister Phyllis Clark. She is survived by sons Byron and Harvey White and sister, Pat Nelson.
LaNell attended Wayland Baptist College, and later worked as a secretary / bookkeeper for McAdoo Chevrolet in west Texas, and several local banks.
She was a loving mother, and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and collecting antiques. LaNell had a generous heart, and loved giving, both to her family and to those less fortunate. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be held on Monday November 20th, 2017 at 3pm in Crestview Memorial Park, Love section. Funeral services entrusted to Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
