Walter Ray Neuman, 86, of Crawford passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Gatesville, Texas. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Coryell City with Pastor Christopher Richmann officiating.

Ray was born on November 22, 1930 to Walter & Leona (Westerfield) Neuman near Coryell City, Texas. He married Jeanetta Pollard on December 15, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City. He was a life-long resident of the Prairie Chapel community where he farmed and raised cattle.

Ray is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanetta (Pollard) Neuman; son Mark Neuman; daughter Denise Henson & husband Mike; grandson Justin Henson & wife Tabitha; granddaughter Amanda Perry & husband Casey; granddaughter Lora Kay Henson & fiancé Ross Russell; one great-granddaughter, Shelby Lee Perry; brother Roy Neuman & wife Rosy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Donations may be made to the St. John Lutheran Cemetery Association.
