Jimmy, Glenda, and extended family. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Vertie. I have several memories of visiting her home as a youngster but 2 more recent instances come to mind. When Vertie and Glenda came to my home in Savannah and we went to the musical at the theater downtown. I recall my mother saying she was the seller of tickets in the booth that is now no longer in use. We had such a nice visit.
The family reunion that Heidi and I took Mother to in Steinhatchee when she was in the assisted living facility and Glenda and Allen also brought Vertie. That was probably the last time all of the brothers and 2 sisters were together.
My sincerest condolences and hope you find peace that she is in a better place now. You have been tremendous caretakers for many years. God bless you all.
