Peggy Ann Constable of Scottsdale, Arizona, was born on February 25, 1930, in Leeper, Pennsylvania, and moved to Arizona in 1959. She passed away on November 18, 2017.
She was a Registered Nurse, Nursing Home Administrator, and a pioneer in Arizona Long Term Care. She was a Nursing Home Administrator before a license was required. Peggy and her late husband, Bill, were founding members of the Arizona Health Care Association, major supporters of the Arizona Health Care Foundation, and owners of Winslow Campus of Care in Winslow, Arizona.
Peggy was pre-deceased by her husband, Bill, and grandson, Eric. She is survived by: brothers Roger and Richard; sister Donna; daughters Cathy Williams, Barbara Brown, Dawn Wetherbee, and Trudy van der Knoop; grandchildren Chad, Matt, Jason, Chelsea, Aynsley, Jeffrey, Nicolaas, and Abby; great-grandchildren Payne, Riley, Cy, Koel, Adyn, Preslee, Cooper, Francis and Eloise.
She spent her later years at Westminster Village and enjoyed the many friends she had made there. She loved playing Bridge, knitting, attending Bible study, reading, visiting the secret butterfly garden, and watching the hummingbirds on her balcony.
A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Phoenix Children's Hospital in Peggy's name.
