Doris Enzor Nobles, 87, of Hanahan, SC, wife of Robert “Bob” Nobles for 68 years, entered into eternal peace on Friday morning after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s on November 24th, 2017 at Heartland Care Facility in Charleston, SC.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, November 26th, 2017 at 4pm until 6pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Rivers Ave in North Charleston, SC. Her funeral service will begin Monday 11am at Highland Park Baptist Church Murray Dr. Hanahan, SC. Burial service will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Doris was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles “Buddy” Enzor, Roland Enzor and Jerry Enzor, also a daughter Brenda Nobles Ross.
She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Nobles, two daughters Cathey L. Nobles of Hanahan, SC and Robbin Nobles Dill (Andrew B Dill, MD) of Spokane, WA. She also has three granddaughters, Brandy Kelley Plessinger of Hampton, VA, Mesha Reynolds of Tampa, FL, Mary Grace Dill of Spokane, WA and two grandsons Christopher Carlin of Charleston, SC and Nathan Dill of Spokane, WA. There are also two great grandchildren Chelsea McDaniel of Hampton, VA and Zachary McDaniel (USAF) London, UK.
Doris was the owner and director of ‘Nobles Day Care for Children’ for 22 years. She had an unwavering love for children and she will greatly be missed. Doris also had a passion for baking, traveling and being with family. She was also a member of Highland Park Baptist Church of Hanahan since 1961. Doris was life member of ‘The Order of Amaranth’ and a past Royal Matron of Palmetto Court No. 1 order of Amaranth Inc.
Floral arrangements will be accepted and memorials can be made to Hospice of Charleston. Hospice of Charleston was blessing to her in the last year with her illness.
