George L. Dillon , age 79 , of Marietta, GA, died on Saturday, November 25 , 2017. He was a retired high tech product and market developer, technical writer, scientist, and hospital and nursing home developer. He was a graduate of Booneville, MS, High School and Mississippi State University. He was the son of the late George W. and Wilma Lewis Dillon of Booneville, MS. He is survived by his wife Nancy Brewer Dillon of Marietta , GA; a sister Lynn Maxwell and two nephews Jamie Maxwell and Jonathan Maxwell all of Taylorsville ,GA, and a number of cousins in Tennessee. There will be a memorial service at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville, MS. Arrangements under the direction of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund or Wounded Warrior Project.
