She was a member of Community Evangelical United Methodist Church where she served as organist until 2002. Ivy loved music and playing piano. She especially enjoyed the old hymns she grew up with in church choir. She was a great seamstress, floral designer, avid gardener, and enjoyed all kinds of needlework. She was a real estate broker until retirement in early 1980's.
She was happiest when she was surrounded by family. She was a wonderful Christian mother, grandmother and friend and will be remembered for her love of Christ, her kindness and sweet, loving spirit.
