Grace Ann Bill, 83, of Johnstown, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017. Grace was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 9, 1934 to the late Mary (Fritchen) Taft. Preceding her in death are her loving husband of 60 years, Dave Bill and her daughter, Cyndee (Bill) Buck. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Tim) Biddle, Mike (Julie) Bill and son, Brian Buck; grandchildren, Brianne Biddle and Kris Somar, Drew (Megan) Biddle, Andy Buck, Kayleigh Buck, Kyle Buck and Summer Doan, Ally (Josh) Nemec; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Owen and Legacy, as well as numerous caregivers, aides and nurses who all became a part of Grace's family. Grace was a homemaker most of her life. She worked at the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services for several years. She left that employment to take care of and spend time with her six grandchildren which she enjoyed very much. She was thrilled to move to Johnstown, Ohio over 28 years ago and enjoyed living in the country. She loved crewel embroidery, crocheting and the 4th of July celebrations that were held in Johnstown and won many first place ribbons. Grace enjoyed playing Animal Crossing and loved music. She loved all animals including her horse, Dawn and numerous dogs and cats. Grace also loved attending Northgate Church. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Grace will be remembered for her wonderful smile, sense of humor and love for others. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 3 p.m. at NORTHGATE CHURCH, 7097 East State Route 37, Sunbury, Ohio with Pastor Bill Stephens officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the start of service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of Central Ohio, whose kind and caring staff was instrumental in Grace's life, at www.foundationforhoco.org.
