MARKLEY, Muriel E., age 76 of Fairborn, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Berry, parents Thomas and Edna Gillies, and brother Mel Gillies. She is survived by her husband Max Markley, sons Kevin (Sue Anne) Berry, Ian (Lisa) Berry, David (Jennifer) Berry, and Cameron (Evelyn) Berry grandchildren Amanda Gale, Thomas, Samantha, Craig, Austin, Ethan, Elise, Emma, Connor, Kaitlyn, Lauren and Carlisianna Berry, and brother Philip (Pamela) Gillies. Muriel had managed the Sylvan Institutes in Naples, FL, Vandalia and Trotwood, was a teacher at Precious Blood in Trotwood, and was a reading tutor for schools in the Fairborn area and Troy Christian Schools. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall RD. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3.
