R. WILLIAM POORMAN, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, following a brief illness. He was born on Jan. 2, 1937, in Wooster, Ohio. He enjoyed a career as a design engineer and Real Estate entrepreneur. He was an avid pilot and advocate for civil aviation and a member of the Q B Club, an exclusive pilot's organization. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Wolfe of SW Massillon, Ohio, and Mary Lou Swan of Canton, Ohio; and daughter, Diana Seymour-Espie. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Poorman.
