Margaret was born on June 2, 1922 to Dickran and Baidzar "Bertha" Aslanian in the Wahtoke/Reedley area of Fresno County. She joined sisters, Eunice "Nona" and Dorothy on the family farm. The family later moved to Fresno where they owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store. After completing high school at Fresno Technical High and briefly attending college, Margaret worked as a secretary at Household Finance. After meeting at a party and a six month romance, Margaret married Leo Krikorian on May 7, 1949. Their marriage was productive of a daughter, Susan "Sue", and Margaret played the role of a stay-at-home mother until 1961 when Leo and his cousin Pete Malkasian purchased West Coast Draperies and Interiors, a company that Leo had worked for years. At that time Margaret became their office manager and continued in that role until the mid 1980's. Margaret happily changed her focus in 1987 when she became a grandmother to Matthew Braydon. Margaret would wish to thank her careproviders: Karine Khachatryan, Virginia (Verzhine) Fodoulyan, Ripsime Oganyan and Gohar Ohanyan for all their compassionate care, devotion and friendship. In addition, an expression of thanks goes to Margaret's special friend, Dr. Steven Chooljian, who not only professionally assessed and treated, but who made himself available to empathetically answer our many questions and concerns even outside of the
office setting. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her husband "Leo"; sisters, Eunice "Nona" Rustigian and Dorothy Longcor and their spouses. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sue Krikorian; son-in-law, Ron Dalitian; and her grandson, Matthew Braydon Dalitian. Additionally surviving are her nieces, Kathy Marshall of Stockton, Judy Rustigian of Fresno; and many of Leo's nieces
and nephews in the Southern California area.Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Who could imagine after moving to a new city that "neighbors" could walk up your driveway, introduce themselves, and become your best friends for life. What a treasure our parents were to each other, and spending every New Year's Eve together for over 40 years! I will be forever grateful to your family and for our friendship as well. With love, Marilyn
