I haven't seen Greg for so many years. When we were growing up we lived just right down the road from year other. I always thought he was so cool!!!! Looking at all the pictures you posted was such a walk down memory lane! He was so handsome. I didn't realize, until looking at those pictures, how much he looks like my little brother, Tiry Crane. Bennett's have some pretty amazing strong genes. God Bless you in your time of sorrow. Please keep your memories of Greg close, until we meet again.

Greg was my Missouri cousin. My dad, Wallace Crane, would drive us out to Columbia from California about every other summer. Greg and I were about the same age, and having a boy cousin about my age made it a blast to be there. We both enjoyed baseball, and we'd play catch and pick up games at family picnics. We'd try to out hit each other, but Greg was always the better player, and taught me a thing or two about hitting and fielding the ball. One day uncle Glen saddled up Ole Yeller. Horses were new to me; I got on behind Greg, and when Yeller started to gently pick up speed I proceeded to slide off, taking cousin with me. He wasn't happy too about that, but soon got over it, and we found something else fun to do. I have lots of good memories of hanging out with Greg. Rest well dear cousin.

There are many things we remember about Greg Bennett, including his right-on impersonation of the lead singer from Def Leppard, his GPC's, his funny, FUNNY sense of humor. We spent a lot of time together in the early days, and you could count on a good time and lots of laughs with Greg. We feel sorry for his mom, and his boys, as we know they will miss him a lot. We are glad he's not suffering any more and hope the family knows we are keeping them in our prayers.

My Uncle Greg was and is a great Son, Brother Father and a great man! My Uncle and I are very very close to each other, I know that he wouldn't want me to be sad for him too long. He would want to think about the good times that we had together! Even though we haven't seen each other for a long time we would still keep in touch by social media, and that made me feel better. His nickname for me is babydoll, and I can hear him say to me" hey I'm okay babydoll I love you! That makes me feel a little bit better, Rest In Peace Uncle Greg! I love you very very much Brittany/ babydoll.
