Renee and family,
I pray for God's comfort and healing for you all. I had the honor to work with Chris for a long time at Compaq. He was a very smart, hard working, and dedicated colleague. I learned more from him about work...and life...than I can possibly list. He did so much for so many people - both in and out of work. His sense of humor was second to no one. I am blessed to have him as part of my life's tapestry and will always cherish the memories.
I can tell you he loved you all deeply.

Renee, Harrison & Vanessa,
We were in shocked and extremely sad to hear about Christopher. We only have the fondest memories of him. Those care-free days at Orr...you both were gems to work with and be with. Nate thought the world of Chris. I remember you both loved being outside, loving the Northern Minnesota wilderness. Chris probably liked the really rough-tough aspects of the outdoors a bit more, as some of the gallery pictures you posted show. We will miss hearing about him. We are here for you.

Still not sure how to respond. Shock. Grief. Sorrow. I have known Chris for 40 years having grown up with him, attended college with him, bunked with him, traveled literally thousands of miles with him and attended his wedding. Trying to come to grips with having lost someone who was so much a part of my life for so many years and with whom I shared so many good memories. I pray that everyone in his family can move forward after this loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dearest Renee, Harrison and Vanessa,
We are so sorry! Words escape us and deep sorrow fills our hearts! We, first and foremost, are concerned for you and can only hope that God comforts you in this difficult time. Again, no words we can recite can begin to comfort you at this time we feel sure. But, God's word can provide comfort to us all in such difficult times of loss and anguish. Lean on Him and His promises- for they shall come to pass!!
It's amazing how we, in all of our busyness, can go through life not realizing how much someone means to us. We appreciated Chris as a friend, yes, but the extent of his influence on our lives was not fully appreciated until now. How sad that we learn these lessons, often, too late.
Your husband, your Dad, was a wonderful person and friend to us and we, now, fully appreciate how much so! We will miss him always! ...his infectious smile and sense of humor!! His giving nature...his desire to make sure all were taken care of.
He was our dear friend - we loved him! We will miss him!
We are so sorry for you all!! ...and for all who knew Chris. There is a void....
Our love and prayers to you all!!
Love,
Danny & Jeanette

I was stunned to see this obituary posted on FB. Chris is too young to be gone. He was one of my fellow Wisconsinites who attended Ambassador College with me. We always joked about keeping up with the Jones's once he and Renee became "an item". I will always have fond memories of him and am impressed at all that he has accomplished in his short time here on earth. Heart-felt condolences to Renee and the rest of the family.

Renee, Harrison, Vanessa, and family; the news of Chris's passing hits like a ton of bricks. You and your family our in our prayers and we do pray that our Father wraps His loving arms around you and through the power of His Holy Spirit grants you a peace that's beyond understanding, and that you feel the warmth of the love so many have for you. Chris worked hard, played hard, and loved much and we appreciated his hospitality, sense of humor, sarcasm, openness, and gentleness. My daddy taught me that you measure a man from the heart up; Chris was a tall man.
