Smith, Robert Michael "Mike"
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Michael Smith announces his passing after a long battle with health issues, on Tuesday, November 28 2017, at the age of 56.
Mike will be lovingly remembered by his ex-wife, Sonya Smith; stepchildren, Amanda (Anthony) Pritchett, Courtney (Noah) Phillips, Danielle (Carlos) Phillips; eleven grandchildren; special cousins, Mariah Arwood, Makayla, Allie and Lilly Gallavan. He will also be fondly remembered by many cousins, friends and acquaintances.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Margie and Henry Smith; and brother, Warren Thomas Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 2 p.m., at the Historic Harmony Cemetery in Helena, AL and will be presided by Bro. Matthew Dickerson. The cemetery is located near the intersection of 3rd Street and Helena Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to your favorite charity in the name of Robert Michael Smith.
The family would like to thank Sonya Smith for caring for Mike in his last days and to give a very special thank you to cousins Wanda and Andy Wood for their generosity.
