During this time she supported her husband through college, while working as a legal secretary. They were married for 35 years. At the age of 47, she went back to college and graduated with a Doctorate in Psychology. She had a practice for more than 20 years. Pauline was loved by many people, and was known as one of the true pioneers of Portland. Throughout her life she was determined to help as many people as she could. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Mary and Paul. She is survived by her children, Bill (Colleen), Susie (Mike) and Cynthia; and one grandchild. I just found out Pauline had died. I am very sad. We met when she was in my psychology classes at PSU. I helped her get her advanced degrees and happily mentored her professional career. She was a warm, loving and supportive person and an effective psychotherapist. She also had an irreverent sense of humor, making her an entertaining friend. I live in California and can be reached at [email protected].

Pauline was our friend for many, many years. Throughout those years I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She always saw the bright side. Love you dear heart. There is an empty space now. Carol and Joe Torres

Bill, Susie and Cynthia...Much love to you all during this holiday. Your mom was a great woman, I can hear her laugh now and that makes me smile. Best to you all.
