What a journey this has been. As part of your fleet, my heart is sad for the loss of you. You're friendship was a very special part of my life - despite your illness you were there for me during the darkest time in my life. You always had encouraging words and a shoulder to cry on. We shared laughter and tears. I'll always remember our lunch dates at Bruegger's, Apex Christmas Parades, our Trader Joe runs - mixing and matching flowers, Kroger runs when we would snag a 'few' extra bags for the litter box, Duck Donut runs, Finn time and daycare time when I would bring the 'littles' over and our strawberry picking adventures. Ava will always remember you for the M&Ms. Your heart was the kindest I've known.
There is a part of me that is missing now but I know you are now at peace my friend. I will always try my best to live in the moment. Thank you for the gift of your friendship and for the memories that will last my lifetime. I love you Laurie Kay Cook. I know Heaven has welcomed a great angel. Love you, Julie
