Everett Whitney Wild, 29, of Welsh, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born to parents William and Karen Wild on September 13, 1988 in Lake Charles. He enjoyed learning about Hamm radio and was certified with the National Association of Amateur Radio. Everett was always learning something new. He enjoyed Motocross riding when he was younger and also enjoyed working on the farm with his father.
He is survived by parents; four brothers, Ethan and wife Colette of Holmwood, Grant and wife Regan of Monroe, LA, Gabe, and Stuart Wild; three sisters, Jillian, Kate, and Rachel, all of Welsh; two nieces, Zella and Ezrah of Holmwood; along with his grandparents, Helen and Ed Wild of Welsh and Barbara Leger of Holmwood.
Donations may be made to Funeral Masses or to the National Alliance on Mental Health "NAMI."
Everett is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Whitney Leger.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh with Father Alan Trouille officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary on Monday at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 10:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Lacassine Cemetery.
