George Betts Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 4, 2017.

George Eugene Betts III, age 48, died of a heart attack on Dec 2, 2017 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen TX.
George is survived by his 3 sisters: Carmen Makowski, Orlando Fl and her three children Ryan, Kalie and Kyle; his Sister Brenda Snyder of El Paso, TX, and her son Derrik; and his Sister Elizabeth Betts-Garcia and her daughter Ariel. He is also survived by his girlfriend Andrea Paige of El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by his Father George Betts Jr. and his Mother Charlotte Betts, both of Killeen TX.

George was born in Heidelberg, Germany on July 12, 1969. He loved hanging out with friends and listening to music. When George was young, he always worked on cars with his dad and hung out at the race track. When he got older, he became a cable technician for TCI cable in Sierra Vista AZ, there he found a passion that he stayed with for over 30 years.

When he cared about someone, he would do anything for you. He moved to Killeen to help both our parents; he was a great caregiver to both our parents. His charity of choice was St Jude hospital.
George will be remembered as a fun loving carefree friend to anyone that needed him. He will be missed!!

Visitation will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Crawford Bowers Funeral home from 10:30 to 12:30, funeral service will be at 12:30.
We will meet at Killeen City Cemetery at 1:30 for Burial; remembrance will be held at his home; food will be from his favorite Restaurant, Big Hoss BBQ. All are welcome to come and celebrate his life.
